The initial game posted for Chapter 4 (the plotter hack) was somewhat difficult, as most of you know, but I was able to get through it in about 3 tries… The video is below, and there was also a new voicemail and a couple of emails:
Find 815 is definitely starting to heat up, as the dialogue between Talbot and Sam grows increasingly contentious. It will be interesting to see how this plays out moving into the Season premiere.
The story continues in a few hours, where we should get the video that concludes Chapter 3. As far what’s happened since the last update I’ve posted, we received a new video, clue hunt, multiple email messages, a new website and voice mail. The video can be seen below:
I’ll update this post with the last video from Chapter 3 later this evening!
To kick-off Chapter 3, we get the following video:
Following that, we then get access to a new activity, which consists of searching Talbot’s cabin to figure out what he is up to. Upon success we get the video below:
So, it is confirmed that Talbot is indeed looking for the “Black Rock”, and that the Maxwell Group is affiliated with Widmore Industries.
Got a few new email messages related to a potential “bug” in Sam’s camera, the Black Rock and Amelia Earhardt. You can also find a new message from his mom on his mobile phone and finally, there was also a new video posted tonight. This obviously concluded Chapter 2, and though I have not been able to identify the embedded images/messages, you can definitely tell there are quite a few in this video, seen below:
As many of you know, it has been difficult, if not impossible, to access the Find815.com website for the last 24 hours, but here is an update of the videos revealed during the latest update to the ARG:
There were a number of new emails and a new puzzle released as well. Enjoy!
Two new email messages were accessible tonight, one explaining Sam’s termination from Oceanic Airlines and another he sent to Austral Air about employment opportunities. There was also a new video diary available by clicking the video camera located on Sam’s desktop, where he speaks about his relationship with Sonya and his impending trip to Jakarta to jump aboard the salvage ship that he hopes will lead him to more answers. Here is a decent version of that video:
Here is the latest installment, in its infinite glory… The infamous Doc Arzt returns to present his sad story related to how he ended up on Flight 815:
I am not sure what to take from this other than the irony and humor associated with Arzt Match.com date gone awry. Enjoy!
FlyOceanicAir.com was updated yesterday and the video was consistently interrupted by the URL Find815.com. I will let you guys explore for yourself, but it is pretty cool; yet another story that seems to at least be tangential to the primary Lost storyline, representating another Interactive movement in the vain of TLE.
This particular story follows a gentlemen by the name of Sam and his quest to find out what happened to the passengers of Flight 815, specifically a flight attendant by the name of Sonya that he was obviously in love with. When the site loads we initially see a news cast associated with 815.
This ARG will continue for the next few weeks, up until the Season 4 Premiere. In this first chapter you should end up finding at least 3 videos and 2 interactive “games”.
Enjoy and please use this thread to post anything you can find.
*Update*
On behalf of those who do not wish to have to dig for the videos, I will post those that I am able to locate, chronologically in each thread related to the ARG.
I am sure by now most of you have seen this, but I thought I would post it here to stir up some conversation. This video was released/posted yesterday, seems to be legit from ABC and has created a lot of buzz. Monday the site (which right now consists of this video and a downloadable pdf) should be relaunched with additional information. Interesting to note the destinations that Oceanic will be servicing:
Los Angeles, CA
Tustin, CA
Ames, IA
Miami, FL
New York, NY
Portland, OR
Knoxville, TN
Seoul, South Korea
Sydney, Australia
