Dang, I’m gonna ask 1 more time since I don’t watch new episodes until the weekend…Are there any episodes mentioned from any sources that were suggested for us to go back and watch after “TPID” (Besides “solitary” which was about Danielle capturing Sayid)?

On this board, I think by Wednesday, most people are anticipating the new episode, and the thread for the preceeding week’s episode gets ignored. So don’t take it personally that you didn’t get a response.

I’m not sure exactly what you’re interested in. When you mention “sources”, are you thinking D&C, or ABC or some official source? I don’t think they ever say, “OK, you should go back and watch XX episode now”. Also, are you interested in episodes that will perhaps explain/foreshadow events in “TPID”, or are you looking for episodes that will be good preparation for the next episode, “316″?

Either way, at this point in the series, with every new episode I watch I find myself saying, “Gotta go back and re-watch XX episode” a bazillion times. It’s really hard to pinpoint one or two episodes that will give good background info for the current episodes. For example, for “TPID”, you already got one of them – “Solitary”.

But a big discussion on this thread has been, Shouldn’t Rousseau have remembered Jin when she saw him after OA815 crashed? And another was, do the events in TPID match up with what Rousseau has told us in the past? To help answer these questions, I’d go back and watch every episode that featured Rousseau.

Another example – At one point you can hear a male voice over Montand’s radio reciting The Numbers. (I don’t remember if that was in TPID or The Little Prince, or both). But based on that, you might want to go back and re-watch Numbers.

Another example – regarding the “316″ episode – and this mayb be a spoiler if you haven’t seen “316″ so if you don’t want to be spoiled stop reading now – it would be beneficial to rewatch ALL of season 1 to glean as much info as you can about the circumstances surrounding flight OA815. How each character came to get on the plane, what they did in the days before the flight, events that happened in the airport prior to the flight, etc.

So, like I said, at this point there are so many references to the past, and events we’ve seen in past episodes, that it’s hard to say what one or two episodes are the best ones to watch along with a current episode.
