We were there too. Found this blog during commercials during tonights episode… My wife was up on the red carpet too, taking pictures, gettings hugs from the cast, all while the kids & I sat in the sun “holding” our seats! We stumbled on to the premier by accident that day, and it was the highlight of our 4 days in Oahu.

Well it was my boyfriends dad that got to see it. He teaches on Ft Huachuca here in AZ and he was teaching some MI guys in Hawaii.. thats why he was there. I dont know the name of the post he was teaching at though.
Robbie, my bf is a firefighter here on Ft Huachuca as well…
I can’t wait to call Mark, his dad, after the premier tonight and give him an ear full for not telling me what happens!

Where is your bf stationed, Julie? I was at Tripler for some of medical school, and I *almost* ended up there for my residency. Now I’m kicking myself that I could have lived under those palm trees too! :P

My boyfriends dad was TDY (military teaching) in Hawaii for the past two weeks. I was going to tell him to check it out.. but again they all think that i’m crazy for my lost addicition. Anyhow, he got home late last night and called to tell us… me… that he and a friend had been walking down the street and were like ‘hey whats going on over here?’… they went to check it out.. OFCOURSE it was the Lost premier. He stayed and watched while his friend went back to the hotel. He’s not a Lost fan by any means but he said that i’m going to love it. In his words… ‘they put on a very good show, those people!’.
Figures… the people that dont really appreciate it, get to see it.
Thought it was funny.. had to share.
ps – he wont tell me ANYTHING about what happened in the premier… so unfair!

Thank your for the report Mr.LVT! Since I couldn’t be there it was really fun to read about your experience.

I like that you checked who the crew and new actors are beforehand, that was a nice detail and I’m sure they all really appreciated it.

Just a quick message to those who have seen the episode and want to comment on this article, please feel free to talk about your experience at the event but don’t write about the episode until it has aired on tv.
