Damien: P0p says he is having problems taking pictures because it can only be seen in the dark (and flash will ruin it). I’m going to try and get Puzzle #3 and try my hand at photographing it under a night setting, but with blacklights, and adjusting the color values with photoshop.

With the whole ‘road system’ thingy; does that imply that the car we saw driving in background behind Ana-Lucia and Goodwin was NOT a mistake? Or that they’re covering the mistake up? It would make sense that the car would be there if there was a road system, and Ana-Lucia and Goodwin were quite near the Arrow Station at the time…

ok. Again, nothing to do with the article but I was checking the Lost Connections on the DVD extras from season 2. Anyone who has checked it out has probably found the screen with static and a person moving their hand over the screen. What I found was that only Jack, Jack’s father and Claire have a connection with this screen. Could it be true that Claire is Jack’s stepsister. The screen seems to have a message in it but I can’t make it out. It sounds like the person in it says “It’s in the safe.” Thoughts?

But yeah, I agree about Jack’s Dad. I noticed 2 things near the end of S2. When Jack’s dad stopped at that house to yell at the lady at the door…
1) I thought it was CLAIRE who answered the door. The lady looked a lot like her from a distance.
2) He was yelling something like ‘Let me see my girl!’ or something like that. (Faulty memory, sorry) I thought he must have fathered a child after he left his wife.
However Claire is a bit old to be Jack’s half-sister. So maybe a step-sister is a better answer. Although I don’t think he would be that upset if it was not his actual daughter.

My wife thought it was Jack’s ex-wife who answered the door. Now THAT would be a big twist!

Mole, I think it’s alright, we’re pretty laid back about off-topic-ism in the off-season. Just FYI, I am getting the S2 DVDs & Bonus Features in the next day or two in the mail, and after I’ve seen all of them, will probably post a review of some of the Easter Eggs & extras.

I have to check my memory too, but I thought that it was neither Claire or Jack’s ex. I thought that it was Claire’s mother (most likely a mistress of Jack’s dad) and Claire was inside holding a crying baby (most likley Aaron)? I thought he as demanding to see Claire.

It could be that Lindsey (the lady he was yelling at) and he had a child that he was demanding to see. That child doesn’t have to be Claire. Claire could still be Lindsey’s daughter from a previous marriage/relationship. So the ’step-sister’ idea is closer to the mark chronologicaly, but maybe not accurate if Jack’s dad (Christian?) never actually married Lindsey.

Things to note:
1) Jack had Ana-Lucia w/ him on that trip, so it wasn’t his first trip there. He met Ana-Lucia at the airport and it seemed like he was familiar w/ Ana already. Maybe he had been going back-and-forth to Oz on a regular basis? If it has been ‘for years’, then Claire -could- still be an actual half-sister.
2) We never found out Lindsey’s last name.
3) We never found out Claire’s mother’s first name (that I know of).

I’m just not keen on the step sister thing because Jack would most likely know that Claire was his step sister. Unless of course Jack’s dad never told Jack he married another woman? I still think she is his half sister he never knew about…but who was the crying baby at the house. I really need to get S2 DVDs because in my head one woman opened the door and there was a second adult holding a crying baby when he was yelling. Can someone tell me if I’m off base?
