This week almost feels like christmas! We’ve not only been given yesterday’s video podcast, but today a new official Lost audio podcast was released too.
Executive Producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse discuss the death of Mr. Eko and preview the fall season finale, “I Do”

Man, I wish they’d just stop doing these. It’s quite clear that damon and carlton can’t stand it.
(With hands reached up to the heavens that is the redheaded stepchild or Disney, a.k.a. ABC) Release these men and let them do what they do best. Which is to write episodes for us to disect,slice open, and examine the innards like a lab frog in middle school. If these podcasts were packed with anymore “sarcasim”; they’d need a gallon of exlax to dislodge this pile.

This was a great penultimate podcast and now we know that ‘penultimate’ means next to the last one! :) There will be one more after the ‘I Do’ episode and then it will be February before they start again. I was really happy to hear that Cindy will be back in episode 8. Since she was captured just moments before the tailsection group met the rest of the survivors, it will be the first time that she gets to really interact with the fuselage group of survivors. Will she remember chasing Charlie to the bathroom just before the crash? Will Charlie recognize her? Certainly, Jack will remember.

It seems that they were making it clear that the smoke monster is what killed the pilot…at least in my head there is only one mysterious monster now. They also explained that the monster has a temper, which could explain why it killed the pilot when hewas giving the losties info on where they might be as he was explaining what he knew?
Any thoughts?

a few nice spoilers relesed, a good one at 15, mims in.
i really like these podcasts, even thou they have more questions then answers,.
to me it seems out off the 2 is the head Men. always asking. i have to wonder about whos writing the shows, i only say this as writing scripts u will see are done by not the same persons, but more then 10, so i guess these have a guide line to what to work with.

I think Locke has the best hair. Nah, you’re right, Shannon wins.
I really like the podcasts too. I don’t mind that the guys are not dead serious. They’re funny and it’s nice to get some insight into the minds of the head writers of Lost.
