According to Variety, Naveen Andrews who portrays the former republican guard Sayid Jarrah on Lost, has joined the ensemble cast of Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino’s new movie - Grind House.

Longtime friends Rodriguez and Tarantino will each write and direct a 60-minute horror story with made up trailers and ads in between. Naveen is set to play a “badass military scientist” in Robert Rodriguez’s part of the movie called “Planet Terror”.

I’m a big fan of specially Robert Rodriguez and have been looking forward to Grind House for some time, so it’s fun to see that Naveen will be part of it since he is a really great actor.

It should also be noted that “Grind House” will most probably be an overblown homage to oldschool horror movies, in the style of From Dusk Till Dawn or Kill Bill.

  1. Just saw MI-3 and always sit through the credits to the very end to see if anyone I know worked on the movie (I’m from L.A.).

I noticed that The Hanso Foundation was listed at the very end of the credits (in the section where the crew thank various Mayors and corporations for their help). MMMMmmmmm?

  2. Haha yeah, one of our other readers noticed that some week ago too, pretty cool.

I haven”t had time to see MI3 yet, was it any good?
