Libby is the only member of the main cast who was never given her own centric episode. She is also the only main character whose motives for going to Australia and boarding the flight have yet to be disclosed.
Libby is obviously a mysterious character with knowledge and a backstory that is still unknown, and unknown for the reason that it is not meant to be known until later in the show.Libby also knows Hurley from the past but would not tell Hurley where he knew her from and was obviously hiding something from him.

Ger, I guess that’s a different twist on the old pergatory theory, but I think that it is has made pretty clear that these folks are not dead. They appear back in the real world via flash forwards.
