- I didn’t see a spoiler in there (nice work Will). Anyone with any sense knew we would see Rachel again because, Ben’s leverage with sis is Juliets’ white whale. That gaping storyline has to be plugged. Now if the actress said she’d be back in S#E## and that her cancer was never cured and that the kid we saw was adopted - that would be a spoiler. Of course any data from Kristin @ E! needs to be taken with a grain of salt. She’s a gossip of the most unreliable kind.
- As for Ben being written up from 3 eps to an Emmy god. The prods’ already mentioned that a year ago,
- I think that the top ten contributors here could probably write the rest of the shows, if the writers decide to strike.

DocH, what I find most interesting is when you really consider the aggregate of things like Ben originally scheduled in 3 episodes, Juliet only scheduled for a few episodes initially and that Jack was going to die in the pilot, etc. etc. it really makes you wonder how often continuity is shifted as it relates to the characters we see.

I think the creators of LOST visit quality sites like this frequently - as a barometer for their work. They probably take the rational opinion expressed here seriously. All of the “I hate Ben” & “Ben is truly evil” talk was the feedback they needed to extend the role. Not because we expressed that opinion, but because we expressed it so passionately. The same role kharma extended to Juliet.

Who knows? The Minkowski (evil?) character that is supposed to be introduced in Season 4 may have originally been scheduled to be introduced at the termination of the three part Ben Linus role, two years ago. There is your flex/shift in continuity and story-telling.

I read something interesting in the translation about this being compared or something to do with the lost experience: - But maybe my translation was bad?

What is suggested is that this could be a subversive production company, no production notes, no bios - mysterious. Also it claims the link sites are like the lost experience - Linked?? perhaps, copying?? maybe, an interesting new experimentation?? possibly. Any thoughts welcome (or a better translation) -
Whatever it is is seems to be backed by Studio Universal. Are the lost producers in any way linked to Studio universal?
