According to Hollywood Reporter, It was announced today that Lost executive producers and writers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse have agreed to stay on Lost for at least another season.

Damon has been part of Lost since the start and co-wrote the pilot episodes with J.J Abrams. Damon and Carlton have also co-written some very intriguing Lost episodes this season like last week’s ‘Lockdown’.

I don’t think anyone expected Lost to end this season, but it’s great to know that Damon and Carlton will keep developing the show throughout next season.

Hopefully J.J Abrams will also play a bigger part in the next season of Lost than he has done this year due to conflicting schedules with a certain upcoming summer blockbuster he has been directing.
