Hey SpinPapi, I read your first line and got a little nervous :) I am 27 and live in the Southeastern U.S; Myrtle Beach, SC to be precise.

The group of us that will be managing the site work together for a web development company that specializes in providing web design, hosting, software applications, etc. for tourism and real estate-related businesses. We are a diverse group, so we should add some spirited debate to the collective.

Over the past year we have found ourselves spending more and more time discussing Lost and our numerous theories. In doing so, I have followed this blog because of the great dialogue that takes place in these posts, and when I realized Andreas wanted to move on, everything else really came together.

It is great that you could step in here. I, too, have been impressed (and humbled) by the intelligent discussion. Hope it stays that way. With the increasing excitement about the blog, as indicated by growing numbers of post-ers, it has been hard for some to follow all the rules, e.g., reading all posts before adding a new one. Thanks, for trying to ensure that we don’t get lost. By the way, is Andreas really gone or will he come back in another episode?

Hey Joel, thanks for the post. We are going to be looking at a number of ways to better organize the content of the site so that it is easier to navigate and read through all of the great commentary.

Specifically at the conclusion of Season 3, I am sure we will implement a number of enhancements that will hopefully make for an even better experience.

I have a pretty strong suspicion that we have not seen the last of Andreas.

I want to weigh in also on the no spoiler rule - I would hope that even comments with spoiler warnings would be kept off the site. Somehow they always get read, and ruin it for us all.

Welcome to the blog. I wish you all the best of the luck with this insane endeavor. My only complaint is that recently there have been a few bad apples putting up rude comments and insulting the other posts. I’m glad that most people just ignore them, but it’s still aggravating. I really hope you guys can figure out a way to deal with that.

Glad to hear you are taking it over in the same spirit. This is one of the better sites out there covering Lost for sure.

I’m curious, what company pays you for your day job?

Also, I do hope the Lost writers/producers end the show after season 4 and don’t stretch it out for more money. Perhaps the network makes that decision. I always respected the Office BBC creators because after 2 seasons, the show ended. Why? Because that’s how long the story was, and no matter how popular it was, it was going to end. Of course, the BBC Office creators produce the American version of The Office, so technically, they are still doing the show.
