Josh Holloway Braveheart style

In a recent interview with British magazine “New”, Josh Holloway (Sawyer) said that he doesn’t know more about Sawyer’s future than the viewers, but that if and when it is time for Sawyer to go, he knows how he would like things to end:

“In the current atmosphere of TV shows the writers are willing to kill a main character without any problem. So that’s a possibility.

But when it happens, I want a big, bloody Braveheart-style battle. I want Sawyer to die badly!”

I don’t think we should take Josh’s comment literally, but the prospect of getting to paint his face blue was to entertaining to pass up. No hard feelings Josh!

  1. I think he should die a hero’s death - saving Kate or Jack (or both) and taking out some of the Others in the processes. Would be fitting for a con man to use his talents in one last selfless act of bravery saving probably the only real friends he’s ever had.

  2. If Sawyer is killed off, I stop watching. End of story.

  3. Yeah.. i agree, if Sawyer dies, end of watchin the drama serial it is for me 2.. he’s the only one who brings real fun in the series n charm 2..

  4. Sawyer is going to live untill the very last episiod I think. Then the Zombi of Mr. Eko and Sawyer well battle it out with Bombo Sticks untill Eko finds his JEsus stick and then he used that..
Anyway they fight on itno the middle of the Island and Zombi Eko is missing a limb or two becuase of some traps Sawyer sets, then right when Sawyer is about to win a polar bear/ smoke/ boar/shark monster coem up and takes Sawyer away.
    Thats just what I think…

But seriously Sawyer wont die, he is too important.

  5. I agree with MasterPo, it fits the trend. Make amends….then die.

  6. I don’t really care if he dies or not. He actually kinda annoys me. But I don’t think he’ll die any time soon. But don’t we all want that kind of heroic, over-the-top, bloody death? No one wants to get shot by a crazy trigger-happy Michael.

  7. You know what I am tired of people trying to mini-boycott the show, if a character they like dies in the future. Its childish, stupid and not convincing , we all know you will continue watching, if not. then this show was never for you.

  8. Ken, I removed your first comment. Please don’t call anyone an idiot. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion as long as we can discuss things in a civilized manner.

  9. Sawyer is freaking awesome, i think that the show would suck without him being there with his wise-guy remarks, and nicknames he makes up, i don’t think they’ll be killing him off anytime soon.
