Naveen Andrews in Grindhouse

Naveen Andrews, best known from his role as Sayid on Lost is starring in the upcoming Robert Rodriguez & Quentin Tarantino double-feature “Grindhouse“. The director duo say that the movie is a tribute to the kind of films they grew up watching.

Naveen is playing a yet to be named character in the segment “Planet Terror” written and directed by Sin City director Robert Rodriguez. Not much is known about the story of Rodriguez’s part of the movie, but Naveen’s character is some form of zombie slayer. Sounds fun.

A trailer for the film has been seen floating around on the Internet. But it’s probably not the final trailer and you didn’t hear it from me.

I’m a fan of both Rodriguez and Tarantino’s movies, and while Grindhouse may look a bit extreme, it will certainly be very interesting to see the final result!

Seriously, from that picture, it looks like his badassitude went up 40+ points.

  2. HAHA He does look B A!!!

  3. Check out the Grindhouse posters at Robert Rodriguez’s site, now THEY are bad ass!

  4. I just watched Sin City for like the 11 gazillionth time last night. Every time you watch it, it gets more twisted.
Anyhow, Naveen looks much younger in the pic above.
