Excitement surrounding Tonight’s Lost Season 4 Premiere

There’s no shortage of media coverage surrounding tonight’s premiere. You would have to being living under the Black Rock to not know that Lost Season 4 debuts tonight. To tide us over for the rest of the day, since we are obviously too excited to focus on anything else, here’s a list of links to keep us busy while we wait. We thank all of our fellow Lost fans who sent some of these in.
Potential Spoiler Warning
- USA TODAY gives tonight’s episode 4 out of 4 stars in their review: ‘Lost’ rescues a TV season that’s adrift.
Returning with a heart-stopping, perfectly pitched episode that fulfills all the promise of last season’s stunner of a finale, Lost is an oasis in a strike-parched TV desert.
- AOL Television did a “‘Lost’ A to Z Guide” – 26 reasons why season 4 will be pretty interesting. Thanks Andie
- ToeKnee found a few preview articles that are worth repeating here: ‘Lost’ finds new ways to intrigue from the Boston Globe and one from nj.com here: Sepinwall on TV: ‘Lost’ season four review
- Here’s a video interview with Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet) on redlasso.com from this morning on the CW 11 New York Morning Show
- This interview with Michael Emerson (Ben) is a good one. He describes the character of Ben here:
He’s certainly an antagonist. He certainly makes things happen. He provokes behavior in the part of others and his methods are mysterious and frightening. We fear Ben because we fear the unknown. If his agenda were more clear, we might feel differently about him. I think a day will come, and maybe I flatter myself here, when we see more clearly what his sight is, who his enemies are, and we may decide he’s a more heroic character than we thought previously
- Finally, you can listen to a podcast interview Matthew Fox from Australian radio station Triple M. It’s broken into 3 parts. Thanks Jason
Enjoy, see you all in the comments tonight!

Awesome ep. what was Jack’s dad Christian doing in Jacob’s chair? What the hell was that convo between Hurley and Jack in the bball court about? OMG 8 eps wont do. Please give the writers what they deserve so that they can continue to work on this awesome show

I got super excited when I saw Charlie in the future-flash back. But then he vanished! It reminds me of when Jack’s father, and Echo showed up on the island in spurts. Thats a fun connection they keep repeating! Oh, that other guy in the first season- who also died-showed up when John needed to learn what to do… He was back in the wheel chair and had to be pushed around in the airport.
Does anyone have any thoughts about this?

Did anyone see what looked like a word on the wall of the police interrogation room with Hurley? Looked like MOSMOKI

why won’t those big shots at the TV places pay their writers? neither side is gonna win if somebody doesn’t give in.
i totally forgot just about everybody has seen somebody who’s died.

Strange but true…
The NY Lottery Pick 3 numbers for tonight were…believe it or not…815

But the people who have seen somebody who died have all been on the island. This is the first time anyone has seen someone who died off the island.

did anyone feel like the first hour was a little insulting to those who actually follow LOST? it made it easy for everyone to catch up, and get on board…
ps- hurley and jack are crazy enough to try to go back.

So, does Hurley’s comment, I am one of the six Ocean 815 mean that only six come back? That guy that cam to visit asked, are the others dead. Then Jack said are you going to tell, does that mean that they left the others there and only six returned and that is why he thinks they made a mistake in coming back?

My name is anthony roth and i just want to say that i watched season 3 of lost in under 24 hours. The total run time was around 18 hours. Thats right i didn’t sleep at all. My friend convinced to watch lost before season 4 started and i was dedicated enough to watch the first 3 seasons on DVD in under a week.

Hey Anthony, I did exactly the same just before season 3 ended! Then the hangover comes when you need to wait for a new episode for weeks just like everybody else :)
