The doctor looked familiar to me also. Does anyone know who he is? Why did Desmond take a second look at the guy who walked by him before he picked up the quarters?

Eggtown refers to an old 1800’s saying relating to Salesmen. It is about a bad deal. When a traveling Saleman would go to a town to sell his goods he would barter and trade. Poor towns would have people who only had eggs to trade. Eggs are a bad trade because the are perishable. Salemen would let their colleagues know to avoid an “Eggtown” because it was a bad deal. This term was also used by salesmen to trick other salesmen into not visiting profitable towns by falsely telling them it was an “eggtown”. Hope that helps.

I think Jacob might be some kind of revelious spirit…remember in the brainwashing video, there was a sentence that said “GOD LOVES U AS HE LOVED JACOB”….so there’s again the father-son relationship…
i have lots of doubts regarding that video though…

Very interesting comparissons i do think it has something to do with the story, but i still think the father figure is more important in the island than a mother…

After all, Locke was told to kill his father in order to “grow”, and i think Jacob is kind of like a father figure of the island…

Shannon grew up without a Mother and lived her early childhood years alone with her Father. At the tender age of 8, Shannon’s father married a woman by the name of Sabrina Carlyle, and along with Sabrina was her 10-year-old son, Boone Carlyle. This resulted in Sabrina becoming Shannon’s stepmother and Boone becoming Shannon’s stepbrother.

Step mom lives, as far as we know.
Birth mom? – Not sure. Just that Shannon grew-up without her birth mom.
Who knows – she may have died as a result of the pregnancy, like so many others on the show.

I didn’t see anyone discuss the coordinates of the boat that Michael left on and the helicopter leaving the island. Michael was given specific instrux to follow exact coordinates and I think, Frank, was told to go back exactly the way they came in. There might be a doorway in and the same or different doorway out of the island found with exact coordinates. Desmond tried to leave in a boat and could not find his way off/out.

Jhonny, i think you’re right, i have always thought that Rousseau has a big story behind her…and i think it has soemthing to do with Ben, for me it makes sense that Ben manipulated her to kill all her “co-workers” and take the baby….

i hope we learn more about her, i think ahe’s very interesting.
