Pretty clear from the title and the preview last week what this episode is going to be about – John Locke and his short life as one Jeremy Bentham. It goes without saying that this is probably one of the most highly anticipated episodes of this season, considering it is essentially the follow-up to Season 4’s cliff hanger.

Spoiler Alert:
“Locke’s fateful mission off the island as Jeremy Bentham is revealed.”
The preview for this week and the sneak peeks have a few spoilers, so proceed at your own risk. If you are looking for a prelude to get even more excited about tonight than you already are, I would recommend at least carefully watching the preview again – and then think back to the dialogue Jack and Ben had on Flight 316 last week…
Tonight is all about learning how exactly the Oceanic 6 can/will get back to the Island. At the conclusion of last week’s episode, you will recall a couple of things happening:
Jack, Desmond, Sun and Ben met with Eloise Hawking and she was preparing to show them the way back to the Island
Locke (in theory) put the frozen donkey wheel back on its proper axis – which in turn should accomplish two things – sending him away from the Island (Tunisia perhaps?) and preventing the Island from skipping through time anymore

Spoiler Alert
“The members of Oceanic 6 discover how to get back to the island, but not all of them want to return.”
The centricity of tonight’s show is again hard to pinpoint, the title itself possibly alludes to a C.S Lewis novel (according to Doc Jensen). It will be interesting to see who actually goes back to the Island and if that happens tonight. There should be a couple character surprises tonight – so keep your eyes peeled during the show!
Now that we know Jin is indeed alive, what will we find out this week about how he has experienced the time skipping while floating around in the ocean? Interestingly enough, he must have stayed within the perimeter of the Island following the explosion of the freighter last season, or the conclusion to last week’s episode would not have been possible. Also – this could be the episode where we learn about Rousseau’s past and how she came to be the only one left of her crew – the title of the episode is ominous enough!

Spoiler Alert
“Locke takes on the burden to stop the island’s increasingly violent shifts through time. Meanwhile, Ben hits a roadblock in his attempt to reunite the Oceanic 6 and bring them back to the island.”
We know that going into this episode Locke’s attempt to stop the time shifts is tied to the Orchid. Also, based on Jin’s chance meeting with Rousseau last week, we see that she is already pregnant when arriving at the Island – so that begs the question of whether/when she and Ben previously met. It is difficult to judge if there will be a central character in this episode – if I had to bet, I would say either Locke or Jin, but we only have a few hours until we find out.
After last week’s cliff hanger with Charlotte near-death, tonight we shift back off-Island and will see more of the Oceanic 6 – most would speculate the title of this episode would refer to Aaron, but I’m not so sure. It will be interesting to see how Ben pulls the group together with his limited time and resources to do so…

Spoiler Alert
“Kate discovers that someone knows the secret of Aaron’s true parental lineage. Meanwhile, the dramatic shifts through time are placing the lives of the remaining island survivors in extreme peril.”
Given the episode description, I would think it’s fair to say we’ll see more of the who/why associated with the lawyers that showed up at Kate’s door earlier this year. It will be interesting to see if/when we find out who is behind the threat to reveal that Aaron is not really Kate’s biological son.
